A great sequel with the same strengths and flaws as book one. Like
The Hunger Games, the plot is rather predictable, but nonetheless I found it a gripping story, even when I could see what was coming a mile away. The ending is one of the worst cliff-hangers ever, though: while I knew that of course not everything would be wrapped up in this book, for all practical purposes
Catching Fire is just Part One, with the upcoming third book in the trilogy being Part Two. If you liked the first book, you'll want to read this one, but you might want to wait until
Mockingjay comes out so you can read them both together.
